Changing the Bulb’s Settings in the Wyze App isn’t Working

If you are changing settings in the Wyze app and they don't seem to update the bulb, there are a few troubleshooting steps that can be taken.

  1. Make sure Wyze Bulb has the latest firmware version installed.
    • Open the Wyze app, go to the Account tab found on the bottom right.
    • Then tap Firmware Upgrade.
    • You can upgrade the firmware of the specific camera that the Bridge is paired with, or select the Upgrade All button on the bottom.

  2. If that has not resolved the issue, try rebooting your router.
  3. Should the problem persist, try setting the Wyze Bulb up again from scratch.
    1. Delete the bulb by selecting the Wyze Bulb from the Home tab. Then press the Settings SettingsGear__1_.pngicon and select Remove Device at the bottom of the page.

  4. After removing the Wyze Bulb you can add the product again by following the Wyze Bulb Setup Guide.
