Why is my body composition data different from what I see at the gym, doctor, etc.?

Home-use smart scales are designed for reference.

The Wyze Scale uses bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) to estimate body composition, particularly body fat. BIA is a popular method to estimate body fat percentage, but there are many other methods available.

While a good estimate, the data calculated by your Wyze Scale may vary from those given by professional-grade medical instruments or methods.
